About Claute
Grey light is still light. Use it well.
Claute is a photo and video studio on Andra Långgatan, between the harbour and Haga. We work for seafood companies, outdoor brands, design studios, shipyards and the agencies who represent them.
It rains here more than most clients expect. We plan for it: covers on every light, an indoor set for every outdoor day, and a fondness for wet streets.
We shoot a lot of product. Rain jackets, boots, chairs and lamps that are designed here and sold everywhere.
Stills and film are made by one crew with one colour plan, so a catalogue, a store screen and a short film look like the same company.

Who we shoot for
Most jobs are within a day’s drive of Gothenburg. Further afield we travel with the core crew and hire assistants locally, and travel is quoted at cost.
Hotels and hospitality
Rooms, restaurants and the people who run them, shot across one or two quiet days so guests are not disturbed.
Food and drink
Plates, bottles and kitchens, with a stylist on set and light that keeps the food looking like it tastes.
Makers and manufacturing
Workshops, machines and the hands on them, shot without stopping the line any longer than needed.
Product and e-commerce
Packshots on clean white and in context, sized and named for every shop and marketplace the brand sells on.
Agencies and producers
Crew, kit and finishing for campaigns that an agency writes and we shoot, with call sheets in their format.
Culture and events
Exhibitions, festivals and performances, with a fast edit for the next morning and a slower one for the archive.
